Transfer from OE to WLM in Windows 7 completed, BUT.....

I created two users under my Hawaiiantel.com POP3 accounts. Both accounts
are in the left pane under the quick views section. When I receive an e-mail
in one account, it would also show up in the 2nd account. Thus I'm always
having to go into both accounts/folders to delete, etc. I deleted one
account from the folder pane and tested if I can send to and get messages
from the deleted account, I do. That's kinda weird but I'm okay with that.
Problem is I don't have the ability to change the "from" on my outgoing
e-mails. Is there a fix for this?

    Thanks,

    Simon

Did you create the users in WLMail and at Hawaiiantel.com?
Does each address have a different password?

    Hi Ron,

I've always had to users while using OE. After WLM install I used the
wizard to recreate the users. Both accounts have the same password. Does
    this matter?

Re: Transfer from OE to WLM in Windows 7 completed, BUT.....

More important than just password is do they have the same e-mail user
name at Tools (ALT+T), Account, Mail, Properties, Servers? If so they
are the same server account. In that case there is no good way to
    separate the messages.

Because WLM defaults to Leave a copy on the server (Advanced tab) and OE
doesn't, each WLM account will download a copy of the message from the
server. With OE, only the first account would download all the messages
leaving nothing for the second account. And since OE dumped them all in
the same folder, that wouldn't be obvious.

You can either uncheck the Leave a copy open in BOTH accounts OR on the
General tab uncheck the Include this account when receiving on ONE of
    the accounts.
