If you're in a message compose window and want to insert a contact's address into the message, I find the quickest way is to click in one of the address fields and start typing the name I'm looking for. When it appears, select it so it's put into the field. Click on it and Cut it (Ctrl-X), back to the body of the message and Paste (Ctrl-V). This inserts the contact in the format Name<address> and it takes much longer to describe than to do.

What's the problem? Getting into the Contacts? Press Ctrl+Shift+C
OIC. Are you using a List view in there? Try using one with a "Preview"
instead. You can copy from there without having to navigate further.
BTW there is a newsgroup for WLMail where it would have been more
appropriate to have asked this. Cross-posting for convenience.
