See Rons' earlier response about send and receiving from a Hotmail account(mail.live.com or hotmail.com) and removing the redundant
account.
Hotmail type accounts are available in multiple forms(Hotmail.com, Live.com, Msn.com, etc)
As noted in my post(a few minutes ago), if you can access mail.live.com your Live.ca account is also a Hotmail type account.
