I'd like to say its a typo, but I can retrieve pop3 from Yahoo with
another email client program but not uaing WLM.

The error says that you are not using SSL when the setup instructions say
that it is needed.

Looks like you are use mail server names and settings that have long
since been superseded. Is this a paid Yahoo account, a free one, or is it
partnered through your ISP? If free, is it based in the US?
