Do you mean that they never get the messages or that you never see the
messages in the Sent Items folder?
Are you getting any error messages?
Do you have more than one mail account at Tools (ALT+T), Accounts?
Select the folder then View (ALT+V), Show or Hide and make sure that
Show all Messages is selected. Also at View, if there is a check mark
in front of View by Conversation click to uncheck. Then in the folder
click on the DATE column heading to sort by date. See if you can then
find your missing messages.
Also note that each mail account has its own Sent Items folder and that
there is also one under Storage Folders used by newsgroups. Make sure
that you are looking at the correct folder.

Mike,
Thanks for the response. They are not getting the mail. I only have 1 mail
account.
I tried sending something to myself and it didn't go through. I then put my
email address in the contacts and sent myself something. It went through and
appeared in the sent items.

It sounds like something is interfering with your Windows Live Mail.
Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause mail problems over time.
