    Message notifications

    As with Outlook Express

    1) when downloading incoming messages, the message box "checking for new
messages on ...." does not inform how many messages remain to be downloaded
e.g. it states "downloading message 1" instead of "downloading message 1 of
5" ... say. This is frustrating and often leads to one closing the mailbox,
without downloading all outstanding messages. Theose messages downloaded
then remain on the server and get downloaded again when next checking for
mail. I've commented on this to MS in its request for feedback, a month ago
    ...... nada!
    2) when opening Windows Live Mail, it does not default to inbox and I cannot
find a way to do this. Can anyone assist please?

1)Closing the Inbox does not stop the download of emails. Are you closing
    WLMail?

    2) Add /mail to the WLMail shortcut.
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe" /mail 64 bit
    "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe" /mail 32
    bit
