| | WL Space migration Hi, I'm writing here because I can't find any WL Space discussion group... There's any way to change the live ID to witch a WL Space is associated, or any way to copy the (whole, including comments) content of the old account space to the new account's one? Thanks |

| | Re: WL Space migration Greetings, I don't claim to be the Live Spaces guru or anything, but I don't believe this is possible [yet] but many people have requested this before. Even if you delete your space, it takes 60 days to be available to be re-created on another Windows Live ID. Now there is one possibility -- if you were to change your Live ID address entirely, then the Space would still be associated with whatever you changed it to. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger Associate Expert http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2007 Jonathan Kay. | | Re: WL Space migration Thanks for your suggestions, but what I want to change is my Live ID, oter than email address (I don't want some of my live contacts to own my email address anymore, and I think this is the only way). However that "60-day point" is not a problem: I'm not interested in maintaining my space name, just content! ;-) Thanks Davide Negretti "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" wrote: Quote: > Greetings, > > I don't claim to be the Live Spaces guru or anything, but I don't believe this is possible > [yet] but many people have requested this before. > > Even if you delete your space, it takes 60 days to be available to be re-created on another > Windows Live ID. > > Now there is one possibility -- if you were to change your Live ID address entirely, then the > Space would still be associated with whatever you changed it to. > > -- > Jonathan Kay > Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger > Associate Expert > http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/ > Messenger Resources - http://messenger.jonathankay.com > All posts unless otherwise specified are (c) 2007 Jonathan Kay. > You *must* contact me for redistribution rights. > -- |
