| Guest | RE: Messenger and Family Safety, Signing In error I also get error 8100035a when trying to log in for my daughter. I set her account up and it seemed to work ok when I tested it, but now I can't login and get this error. This thread sounds like it deals with the same issue, but how do I get to the options to change my daughter's account so that she can login. Thanks |

| Guest | RE: Messenger and Family Safety, Signing In error Tony, As far as I know 8100035a is a "catch-all" error code to indicate a failed logon and doesn't indicate what failed, which is not really helpful to people like us who get problems. My problem was fixed my the FSS support team after I pushed and pushed to get it sorted, I had to give them all my family's passwords (I changed them to something really simple first and restored them after) and gave them permission to access the accounts. I still don't know exactly what they did, but all the information they were prepared to give, I posted in the second message I sent on the 9th November last year, have a look there. I isn't very helpful but I have advised others who suffered the same or similar problems to quote the reference number SRX1043436131ID abd basically tell them "you fixed his now do it for me". Bear in mind that since the problems I had there have been several updates to FSS so the problems might not be the same, hope this helps. Good luck -- Dave "Tony Payne" wrote: Quote: > I also get error 8100035a when trying to log in for my daughter. > I set her account up and it seemed to work ok when I tested it, but now I > can't login and get this error. > This thread sounds like it deals with the same issue, but how do I get to > the options to change my daughter's account so that she can login. > Thanks |

| Guest | Messenger and Family Safety, Signing In error I am getting the same error code. If my hotmail account is already set up to be a windows live account ID, then why can't I use my old hotmail address to log into Windows Live Messenger? If so, how do I export my contacts from my hotmail address and import them into my Windows Live address |
