| | deleting contacts? Hi, when I delete a contact from messenger then go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>PRIVACY> The names of the deleted contacts continue to appear in either the "allow" or "block" box. Surely there must be some way of clearing any trace of past contacts from messenger. Thanks, any advice appreciated. |

Greetings Harry, Due to the way the contacts work, both sides must have each other removed from their contact lists before you're able to delete them from the privacy dialog box. You may notice that contacts have the option to delete grayed out. this is because they still have you on their contact list. The best you can do, is ask them, nicely, to remove you, you'll then be able to delete with all trace of them gone. if they no longer use the account, forgot password for example, you'll have to wait for the Live ID to expire. I think that is 90 days without any activity on it. -- (Windows Live Butterfly Expert) |
