WLM 8.5

how can i install WLM 8.5 on an external hard drive? i can't install it in
my work computer but always carry an external HD. the problem is is that the
install program doesn't let you specify a directory. any advice?

Greetings,

Unfortunately unlike earlier Messenger versions, you can't easily copy over Windows Live
Messenger 8.5 if it's not been installed prior.

I've spent several hours trying to force the installer to install elsewhere but haven't had
much luck as of yet.
