Vista - Mobile Messaging is temporarily unavailable

I keep getting an error message "This message was not sent because Mobile
Messaging is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Is anyone
else getting this? If so, will this problem be reconciled soon? Based on
past threads it appears this is an on going issue. Is this product not ready
for prime time?

I'm also getting these the last week. I've never had trouble in the past
until now. any solution suggestions would be appreciated!

I tried multiple contacts. Dave, I reimaged my drive yesterday and also
updated my mobile # on the MSN website on the same day...Did you do either
of those?

It happens from work computer & from home computer, and they are different
operating systems, different ISP's, etc., so I don't think it's a computer
issue. I had the recipient look for something on her phone that might be
causing this, but couldn't find anything. I had read on another forum that
it was the recipient's device reverting back to default settings, which were
maxed out or something. Anyway, those instructions did not work for us. I
can receive a message on my computers from the mobile, just can't answer or
initiate one.

Some smart person tell us how to fix this please!!!

Ya I'm getting the same problem

Used to be able to text peoples cells no problem now it doesn't even work...


Msn is starting to blow

I think they should use some of that $44B and fix things they ALREADY own :-)

yes i found a soultion.well here is what i tried first go to start then open
search then on the left panel go to where it says all files and folders then
on the same left panel it says more advanced options click all the boxes that
show then it type in where it says ALL or part of the file name then type in
messenger be sure to look in local hard drives C. hit enter...then wait for
all the messnger things to pop up then unistall messenger and the delete
everything that has messenger..when thats done just reinstall the messenger
and it should works cuz i tried everything..
