Vista - WLM Forgets Display Name

Hi

Firstly my apologies for cross posting this from the MSN Messenger forum, i
have only just become aware of this Live Messenger forum.

I've recently installed Windows Live Messenger; everything is ok except i
have to enter my display name and personal contact message each time i sign
in. It always reverts to my email address as the display name and no message.

I have found that the ordinary Windows Messenger remembers my display name
for the same account, but not Live Messenger.
I have the "Use the same display picture and personal message....." option
ticked.
I had either Live Messenger or MSN Messenger installed about a year ago and
then removed it - might i have screwed something up by removing and
reinstalling?

Any ideas?

Solved it myself - i had the security option 'This is a shared computer....'
ticked.
