Vista Tutorial - Can't Login to Windows Live Messenger on all Computers

I cant logon to Windows Live Messenger on any of my computers using the same
internet connection. My Windows Live ID works at friends houses. Ive tried
everything, proxies are NOT on, ive tried disabling firewall, resseting
internet connection etc. I get error code 81000306. The wierd thing is I run
the diagnostic after and it says everything is fine. Ive tried reinstalling
and installing previous versions (after realising this made no difrence I
went back to the most recent version). Im running Vista on one of my
computers and the others in the house are XP.I hope someone can help, its
baffled me

Hello Dan,

Are you connecting through a router? Does it have the latest firmware? If
you have a router, try rebooting it.
