couldnt download WLM. (99% only)

Hi. I am new to windows vista starter. I tried to download the latest
version of windows live messenger but it only stays to 99%, it
couldn't finish. I tried to download the previous version at
oldversion.com, and it was successful, but I really like to use the
latest version. Pls tell me what to do, why is this happening?, my
vista is updated. Also, I tried to download the latest version of
yahoo messenger and yahoo messenger for vista but failed too, and I
tried to download again at oldversion.com the previous version of YM
and it worked, it wouldn't let me download YM for vista in yahoo
website.

Please help!

Can you be more specific about the problem? If you're really unable to download anything
past 99% from both my server and Microsoft's then you may have a larger problem.

Hi,

We do not have a problem downloading anything else from other sites. We did
finally get the WLInstaller.EXE downloaded. But, when it tries to install it
is only successful for the Sign-in Assistant and Messagner; Mail gets to 99%
downloaded and stops.

Any suggestions?
