Vista Tutorial - signing in to live messenger

I have just spent over 6 hours on downloading and trying to set up 2 user
accounts for live messaging. I think I've done it now but I can't find a
sign-in link to get to write a message. If I sign in on the msn home page
nothing happens. If I click the messenger icon it loads a tour video. Help,
I'm about to throw the computer through a window!

You need to start Live Messenger and use that. To do so, click Start, then All Programs,
then Windows Live and then Windows Live Messenger.

If it's running already, it will also come up for you.
