where is the exe file located

What's the default location of the WL Messenger exe?

Installed WinXSP SP3 and I think I may have to reinstall WLM since my copy
is a patched one and clicking on it brings up the WIndows Installer window

off topic; when installing WinXP SP3, disable antivirus otherwise you may
need more than 6 hours to finish the installation; I did :-(

Re: where is the exe file located

Drive:\Programs\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe

This is where I have it and believe it is the default location.

Hope this helps.

Re: where is the exe file located

To be correct:

On 32-bit systems:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Live\Messenger
On 64-bit systems:
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Messenger
