| | Live messenger wont sign in Simple as that. Its a new PC just formatted with Vista x64 ultimate edition. There is no antivirus or firewall installed yet. Windows firewall has been disabled. The connection test says its working, but when i sign in the two MSN guys just spin and spin til i get an error - eventually MSN told me it has to be a firewal, which it cant be as there isnt one on this machine. |

| Vista 32 | Re: Live messenger wont sign in I get the same thing.....it can't be the router that's affecting it because I've been using the same router and it was OK before Vista x64 installation. Must be something with x64 version that's messing it up somehow!! My MSN Live Messenger installation is from a .msi file I downloaded a while back, though still 8.5 version.......I am beginning to wonder for the x64 version OS, is it necessary to install MSN Live through the MS certifications / verification process?? |
