cannot sign into messenger with aol account

my messenger signin is *myname*@aol.com when I try to sign in I get the
message "we were unable to sign you into windows live messenger, possibly
because of a problem with your internet connection" error code 80072745

I have looked that up and what it says does not apply since borh my desktop
and my laptop signs into messenger with no problem... tho its a
*myname*@hotmail.com...

neither computer will sign into msn messenger or webmessenger with the
@aol.com account, both Will sign in with @hotmail.com

I have had the @aol.com messenger account for four years and this is the
first time it won't sign in... also it will sign into msn free games with
@aol...

so why am I now unable to access the msn messengers with the @aol.com account?

I'm having the exact same problem, and on the exact same day... obviously
this has nothing to do with anything on our end.

I have a user with the same problem. How do we get Jonathan Kay
Microsoft MVP to answer this post?
