Start > Run : msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859} .OK ![]() |

| Member | Re: Error Code 0x8000ffff Hi all - I'm having exactly the same problem. I had WLM Beta installed, but it was playing up so unistalled it from Add/Remove programmes. I've tried the msiexec command line given in this thread, but that just comes back with "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed". Any more ideas please? |

| Guest | Re: Error Code 0x8000ffff Greetings, If you uninstalled it from Add or Remove then it's gone, the msiexec command just removes it - which you've already done hence the message you're seeing. If you're looking to reinstall 8.5, install from here: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "OzmeisterO" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message news:f746a7b729d72a81edf6c356516daa6a@xxxxxx-gateway.com... | Member | Re: Error Code 0x8000ffff Minor things really like the new tabs not showing, e.g. the Facebook one appears occasionally (gives me the login screen where I enter my details, press enter and then the login screen just appears again) and then disappears again. Any ideas? |
