| | Logged In, but can't get e-mail Hi, I'm logged in to Windows Live Messenger (4.7). I used to be able to right click and get to my e-mail on the web. Now it brings me to my Outlook box, which is my work e-mail. I don't want that nor do I want to download my Messenger mailbox into Outlook. How do I get it to open up in a new web window? Thanks, Angela |

| | Re: Logged In, but can't get e-mail Greetings Angela, This feature was removed around the 2003 timeframe. There are actually two versions of Windows Messenger surviving that still allow this functionality and are still allowed to login, however you cannot download them directly from Microsoft any more. I highly suggest that you install and use Windows Live Messenger instead (http://get.live.com/messenger/config) which will give you this support back. Also, I think you'll find as your contacts upgrade in the near future, support for the old Windows Messenger file transfers (and other features) within the newer versions will be removed, so you will be forced to switch at some point anyway. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Angela" <Angela@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BA5732D5-938D-4CDA-B227-06919F02F193@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > I'm logged in to Windows Live Messenger (4.7).
