| | Dumb Question (I'm sure) re: Messenger Contacts Hi, I just installed Live Messenger. Trying to add a contact that is NOT .msn or .live. Is that possible? Thanks! (I had root canal this morning so I'm sure it's the drugs making me foggy) :| |

| | Re: Dumb Question (I'm sure) re: Messenger Contacts Greetings, Yes, Live IDs can be any e-mail address (with some exceptions for certain addresses that have been reserved). If the user doesn't have a Live ID setup on whatever address you enter, you'll be prompted to send them an e-mail so they can easily create one. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Dazed and Confused" <Dazed and Confused@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F8586CEB-F600-44F2-913E-917B6A7C19C4@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > I just installed Live Messenger.
