| | Messenger "signs out" when VPN is connected Whenever I establish a VPN connection, messenger pops up a message saying I've been signed out because I have signed in on another computer. I am using Version 2008, Build 8.5.1302.1018. I'm not sure why it does this since my VPN connection is configured so I am not using the remote gateway. Also, Messenger is signing out even though I have not actually logged on to a remote computer and I do not have Messenger configured on the remote computer anyway. Is there a simple way to stop this behavior? I have tried changing the VPN configuration to use the remote gateway and the problem stays the same. Thanks, Dale |

| | Re: Messenger "signs out" when VPN is connected If logging into the VPN changes your IP address on your main outbound route, then the logon servers may see this as having logged on from a different computer.
