Vista - Cannot Login to Windows LIVE Messenger

Suddenly I am not able to login to my Live Messenger (8.50.1302.1018). This
ID works on the WEB Messenger and other IDs work on Live Messenger on this
machine but One of my ID's does not. It just goes into a spin with no message
coming forward. I am running Windows XP SP2

I have gone through the Forum and tried the various solutions - Remove the
registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger. But still the
problem continues. The problem has started a couple of days back only

I have the same problem, it happened about a week ago, I have removed the
registry as you did and i uninstalled it and reinstalled it . I did system
restore and it works once but then goes back into the spinning motion. Its
extremely annoying. Have you had any results solving it yet?
