Live Messenger is not receiving/sending some messages

Hi,
i used WLM 8.1 and is currently using WLM 8.5 but on both of the versions i
faced problems by NOT receiving some of messages during the chat.
my friend is writing me but i do not receive. also sometimes when i send
them messages
(all of us are online) i receive a red "X" and a message could not delivered
although friends are online.

why this happens ? and what shall i do ?

thanks.

Hey Fuat,

This is a problem that millions of users encounter when they use and IM
service. I think you'd be interested in reading the following article
regarding instant messages:

Re: Live Messenger is not receiving/sending some messages

I used to have this problem as well, but I rarely use MSN anymore (mainly because of the short character limit and my current disposition as being "AWOL", but I digress). It came to a point where I would have to send a message over six times just for it to go through. :/

RebelSean, you say that this is a common occurence, and I believe you! However, that article is a bit irrelevant. 8D It was a nice read, though. It talked about how messages were not sent because they... Well, they were no longer "useful". But when my messages stop going through it's always involuntary... It does it on it's own. As Fuat described, I also get the little red "x" and the error message.

I'd still like to now why this happens and how I can overcome this problem. A friend told me to log out and then log back in whenever this happens, but that didn't work at all. D:
