live messenger - minimize to system tray

Does anyone know how to minimize Windows Live Messenger IM client to the
system tray?

Doesn't the X in the upper right corner work? In Messenger that
minimizes the client instead of Exit, or you can do it by alt-F and
choose close. To exit right click the icon in the systray and choose exit.

Re: live messenger - minimize to system tray

I want the same as Kurdo.

I'd like to exit messenger without going to the system tray and closing it
from there.

Re: live messenger - minimize to system tray

Mine doesn't minimize to the tray with the close button - it just closes. Is
there an update I don't have, or a setting I need to change?
