Live Messenger Shutdown Problem

When I open up Live Messenger, it starts signing me in, then as soon as its
signed me in, i get a flash of my friends list, then it automatically closes.
I have to reboot my PC to remedy this problem, which is a large hassle as i'm
usually doing work for college/my job, any solutions would be welcome.

Thanks.

Re: Live Messenger Shutdown Problem

Greetings Fishman,

Exactly what happens after you reboot? It works once and allows you to use Messenger, or?

WLM Shuts down automatically after 10sec

Re: Live Messenger Shutdown Problem

I have the same problem here. WLM signs in, shows my contacts for maybe 10
sec and then program minimizes itself to the corner automatically. The bubble
shows up and informs me that WLM is still running showing its icon in the
right bottom corner. But guess what WLM no longer runs. When I go to the
corner, icon disappears. WLM is eventually shutdown. No real error messages.

I am running WLM on a Mac with VMWare Fusion / WinXP Pro environment.

Please help
