contactcoll.cache in Contacts folder?

Hi!

I use the Vista Contacts folder a lot, and I try to keep Live Messenger/Live
Mail contacts seperate. I know Messenger adds contacts to that folder in a
hidden folder, but I still have a contactcoll.cache file in the main Contacts
folder. I don't know what this does, but is it okay to set it's attribute to
Hidden?

Thanks!

Greetings,

Yep, it'll work fine set as hidden.

Re: contactcoll.cache in Contacts folder?

Hi,

Just to add, what version of Messenger are you using? In 8.5 the contactcoll should be in
that hidden folder (or is that what you meant)?

Regardless, it'll still work fine hidden.

Re: contactcoll.cache in Contacts folder?

Hi!

Yeah it's 8.5 that I'm using. It's not hidden it's just in the root of the
Contacts folder but thanks for the info about hiding it! Much appreciated! =)
