| | Webcam in Messenger Live 8.5 locks up. Whether I am asking to view someone else's webcam or trying to send them my webcam, Messenger Live 8.5 locks up as soon as I hit the webcam button. When I pull up the Task Manager I see that there are double the number of Messenger Live and Messenger Conversations open and Not Responding. I can open the Logitech QuickCam software and see that the cam is functioning. I have to close Messenger and re-start it to chat. Previously I had viewed webcams from others, but when I had problems with Messenger Live 8.1 and upgraded to 8.5, I was no longer able to send or view webcams. I'm running an HP Pavilion laptop, XP Media Center Edition, 1 gig mem, Intel Core Duo Processor |
