| | Re: screen is sideways Greetings Joe, Unfortunately that particular feature is something added on by display drivers or other third-party software and isn't standardized in Windows. As such, you'll have to poke around to find the exact option. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "joe h" <joeh@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:B0DA9D03-3B34-4ABA-8B98-3B86A2F5A758@xxxxxx Quote: > i hit a button on my keyboard and my entire screen is showing everything > sideways how to fix?? > thanks |

| | Re: screen is sideways Try Alt or Control and one of the arrow keys on your computer. Otherwise, you'll have to dig through the Display Control Panel to find the option to disable the screen rotation. -- Jason Tsang - Microsoft MVP Read my blog for the latest in Media Center topics (and other topics that interest me) http://jtsang.blogspot.com More information by me http://jtsang.mvps.org http://www.classicsunveiled.com Find out about the MS MVP Program - http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/default.aspx "joe h" <joeh@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7558B07D-498F-4B4D-B14C-41ABDC700A30@xxxxxx Quote: > where would you suggest I start? > > "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" wrote: > Quote: >> Greetings Joe, >> >> Unfortunately that particular feature is something added on by display >> drivers or other >> third-party software and isn't standardized in Windows. | | Re: screen is sideways Right-click an empty spot on your desktop and select Personalise. Look to see if you have your Graphics Card settings there. Somewhere in those will be the rotate display settings. -- Peter Toronto, Canada XP Pro SP2 x 2/Vista Ultimate SP1 Triple Boot "joe h" <joeh@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7558B07D-498F-4B4D-B14C-41ABDC700A30@xxxxxx Quote: > where would you suggest I start? > > "Jonathan Kay [MVP]" wrote: > Quote: >> Greetings Joe, >> >> Unfortunately that particular feature is something added on by display >> drivers or other >> third-party software and isn't standardized in Windows.
