| | HELP-How do I simply add a contact? I'm not real into all this WLM stuff but my son is in Iraq and he is a subscriber to WLM. All I simply want to do is add him to my contact list so we can communicate live. Why does it ask me to "import" a contact? If he is a Windows Live user, I shouldn't have to "import" him!! Isn't there just a simple address book that you can add Live users to? Please help --- we don't get to talk to him that often and when he is online I want to be able to communicate. THANKS!!! |

Clicking the + icon in the top right of the contact screen (Windows Live Messenger Version 8.5) beside the up and down arrows should allow you to add a Windows Live Id or Yahoo! ID. If not, what does it show? Nice to see someone found it ![]() Really though, the current user interface certainly is failing when you can't find such a basic function. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Victor Bowman" <vick@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F4AFFFF8-E5C3-40B5-9D91-B3122C1471DF@xxxxxx Quote: > Clicking the + icon in the top right of the contact screen (Windows Live Messenger Version > 8.5) beside the up and down arrows should allow you to add a Windows Live Id or Yahoo!
