1 Account Multiple Computers

I have a single Live Messenger account and I want to be able to login to it
via home, work, etc. at the same time. Is this possible?

Re: 1 Account Multiple Computers

Hello Jason,

the feature that you are requesting is called "Multiple Points of Presence".
This feature is not available in the latest publicly available version of
Windows Live Messenger (8.5 / 2008). However, this feature will be added to
Windows Live Messenger 2009 (9.0), which is currently in closed pre-beta
phase. When you are using Windows Live Messenger 9.0 in all of your
locations, messages and chats get replicated to all of them. Windows Live
Messenger 2009 is scheduled to be released at the end of 2008 or beginning
of 2009.

Regards,
mynetx

Re: 1 Account Multiple Computers

live messenger 9.0 can do jus that... I have used the beta I found here
http://www.9down.com/Windows-Live-Me...ownload-19863/
(one of the links work) and it works great

sooner or later they will publish a newer beta probably since this was hard
to find.. but it does work.. I have not seen any bugs
compared to 8.5

Re: 1 Account Multiple Computers

Hello Carl,

your download was hard to find because it is not a public beta, but a leaked
copy of a closed beta currently in progress. Please refrain from sharing
such download links, as using Windows Live Messenger 9.0 is not yet
recommended due to major stability and other bugs.

Regards,
mynetx
