Chat rooms...???

Exist something like that in Windows Live Messenger???

NO, or better, not public!

You can invite other users to the same conversation and all this
people, who invited from you, can talk with each other.
BUT:
a)it's impossible for any user to join this room, until you invite him
b)This room is not permanent and there is no link for it. (Like IRC or
Jabber)

Greetings all,

Actually this is true, but someone actually recently came up with a solution for this. The
implementation is a bit weird, but it works by providing different 'groups' and a dedicated
account for each one that you can message.

Hello all,

Messenger Group Chat just developed a bit further, so now you don't need to
open
the activity panel to see the online list. Rather, you can now use commands
to access
the group chat features. Just open the group chat window
(m[sn]group*@hotmail.com),
and send a message with '/help' (or '//help' if you have Messenger Plus!
installed).
