How can I set up Norton 360 to san my files in WLM? I have version 2 which

Does anyone know what the .exe is that I should set up in the file and

I would like to be able to do the same thing with Trend, but I don't know

RE: Using Norton virus scanning software

I have Norton Antivirus 2007. I would also like to know which Norton
executable to specify to Windows Live Messenger so I can scan my messenger
files also.
Thanks.

RE: Using virus scanning software.

For Norton Antivirus 2007 on XP with SP2, it looks like the executable to
specify in WLM
file transfer to have files scanned is navw32.exe. On my system that file is
in Programs\Norton Antivirus\navw32.exe.

If Norton 360 has this executable, you may want to try it.

When I get a file transferred via WLM, norton screen pops up and shows 1
file scanned. Good luck.

Re: Using virus scanning software.

Try searching for PccNT.exe - mine is located in the following path:

"C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan Client\PccNT.exe"
