I am trying to make my ID appear to be 'Mobile' when I am not signed in on a
computer, so people can send me text messages when I'm signed out. I have gone to Tools -> Edit your mobile settings... and signed up at vzw.msn.com. However the "Allow people on my contacts list to send messages to my mobile device" checkbox on the Phone tab in Options is always disabled/grayed out and I am unable to check it. BTW, my mobile device is just a regular cell phone...not a PDA or anything like that. I was able to do this several years ago, but I am unable to do it again. What do I have to do to get it working again? Does this not work anymore? |

Hi Cody,
To make any changes, like that, you need to be signed into Messenger first. Then make your changes. -- thecreator "Cody" <Cody@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:5B11DBB6-81DF-4854-8A51-839204EDCD0E@xxxxxx
