Hi
I have a serious problem. I was using XP just a few months ago and all file stransfers were fast. I'm using a Linksys router WRT54GC. But now after I got my new PC vith Vista 64 Ultimate all transfers are VERY slow. I have searched everywhere to find ports to forward to enable fast trasfers, but no luck. Can any of you help me out? As much as I have read the net the UPnP plays a part in this and this is enabled in the router. I remember that even I was using XP home I had to forward some ports so the file stransfers could be fast. I got those port number probably from here, not shure though http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927847, but if I forward these ports now under Vista they don't work. Pleace can anybody tell me what am I doing wrong? Best regards, Gunnar From Estonia |
