| | Runtime Error: LIne:3 Syntax Error Hi, I have been using build 8.5.1302.1018 for some time without error. This morning I recieved an error when opening Live Messenger Runtime Error Line: 3 Error: Syntax Error. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded the program. Still, I can't get rid of this error and MS Messenger runs intermittently. Any help, direction to a different site or other such assistance would be appreciated. | | Re: Runtime Error: LIne:3 Syntax Error Greetings Dale, Usually what you're describing is the advertisement (which is actually a web page frame). This comes up from time-to-time -- the ad companies don't properly test their ads. However, although it should appear, clicking No to the prompt should allow Messenger to run normally. | | Re: Runtime Error: LIne:3 Syntax Error Hey Thanks Jonathan, Although the error appeared all day yesterday, everytime I would open a window, close messenger and restart, or initiate a chat, It is gone this morning. It bugged the heck out of me yesterday though. Thanks for the reply and I will remember this going forward.
