Microsoft Chat

I downloaded Microsoft Chat and when I tried to run it I got the message
Failed to update the system registry. Please try using regedit. I don't know
how to use regedit and I was wondering if I need windows live messenger for
this program to work.
Thanks for any help.
Walter

Re: Microsoft Chat

Is Microsoft Chat compatible with Windows Vista Home Basic? From my research OS listed did not include Vista.

Re: Microsoft Chat

Greetings Walter,

Exactly which "Microsoft chat" are you referring (a link would be great)?

Re: Microsoft Chat

Microsoft Chat 2.5(4.71.2302)
Hope this makes a difference. Also I was wondering if possibly this program does not support Vista Home Basic. From my own research it did not show that it did. It showed other MS OS but not Vista.
