Live Messenger 8.5

I want to download Live Messenger 8.5, but I don't want to use that stupid
downloader which keeps failing on me. Is there a direct link to the whole
thing instead of this stupid new way of doing things?

Matthew

RE: Live Messenger 8.5

Did you figure this out? I am having the same problem. Every time I run
WLinstaller.exe, it keeps routing me to the windows live webpage. It doesn't
install anything.

Re: Live Messenger 8.5

Trillan bogs down your cpu considerably. I am not interested in using
another program, I just want to know how to get around the download problems
I am having with WLinstaller.

Re: Live Messenger 8.5

Dear Mr. Kay,

It seems you have the ability to work magic where most others fail. It´s
nice to have a friend in heaven and those in the know just might consider
Microsoft headquarters to be just that.

I live in Brazil and am wondering if you might allow me to access Messenger
8.5 in Brazilian Portuguese as a simple download without going through all
the rigamaroll.

Thank you for even considering this request.

Re: Live Messenger 8.5

Greetings,

A direct link to the Microsoft Installer (MSI) file is here:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp

All you have to do is run the MSI and it will install.
