GDay Jonathan,
Yeah well I have been using MSN since, hmmm well a bloody long time, and
never had an issue with it really. So when I found the option of changing my
email address I thought, great. Mainly because of the fact that the email I
had used to register was I used way back some time in the 90's which I am
sure has long since not existed. Having Microsoft state that this might take
an hour, when realistically it takes days, well, no offense, but doesnt
really surprise me from Microsoft, just yet another let down. Admittedly a
first for what I thought was one of the best IM's out there. That said I have
not really used any other IM's, because I have not need to look for something
better.
When Microsoft took on yahoo and added in support for the two to interact
with each other was great, and I would love to see more IM programs being
able to talk to each other, of which I highly doubt will happen due to the
loss of market share each might have if they all communicated with each other.
Anyway, I really do appreciate your advise, and just checked and it seems I
shall be waiting a bit longer at this stage, and I will leave it over the
weekend and if nothing is seen to work on monday then I'll have to revert
back, I am just hoping that it works, albeit slow.
Cheers,
Cy
