I had similar problems, and still have, my deleting and adding them made no
difference they still apeared offline to me what did make a difference, was
being deleted and re-added by them and then having them block and unblock me,
then believe it or not they appeared online. This is one hell of a glitch and
for microsoft not to have a solution to this problem is ridiculous, believe t
or not i have come across a lot of people with this problem. I sincerely
hope this works for you. The other problem i faced was in updating my
profile my ninemsn nic wont change yet its signed in with live id and when i
click change it goes to live id where it has change and is changed in
messenger as well, just another glitch.
