Mobile when I don't have one

For about the past month or so, it has shown to my friends that I have a
mobile connection, when I don't. When my friends try to send messges to
this person, they get really foul and rude replies. Also, I've had another
friend try to help me see if I could receive offline messages. I can't.
What happens is that they have to buy credits to sends sms. ??? I wonder
how many friends I've lost, and cannot contact me?

But what is really bothering me is this mobile thing. I simply don't have,
nor have I ever had a mobile number attached to this ID.

Thanks

Re: Mobile when I don't have one

Greetings,

As a starting point, head over to http://mobile.live.com/Ruhp.aspx, sign in with your Live ID
and see what it says there.

If anything is setup there, there's a cancellation link around (depending on what locale
you're in).
