| | Mail Notification Up until about 2 months ago, everytime I got an email a little box would pop up in my system tray (associated with live messenger) and tell me I had received new email. Then out of the blue, it stopped, no more notifications. I didn't change anything at least I'm not aware of changing anything. Anyone have any ideas on this? I'm running XP with SP2. Thanks. -- Inside every older person is a younger person wondering. 'What the heck happened???' |

| | Re: Mail Notification When you open WLM and click the hotmail tab on Windows live today, does it say mail is currently unavalible through this service? That may be the problem. | | Re: Mail Notification Greetings Ruth, The mail notifications are done server-side and simply sends your Messenger client a simple message when there's new mail. | OS | Re: Mail Notification I'm having this problem now too - When i'm in WLM I'm not receiving email notifications when i sign in or during the time I sign in - I keep having to click the little envelope in WLM ( and even that doesn't have a number beside it ) - I've checked to make sure the " receive notifications when new mail is received " is ticked, which it is |
