Vista - Adding and AIM Buddy?

Hi All........

I'm having such a hard time adding a friend of mine to my WLM! Are we able
to add an AIM.com address to our buddy list contacts? Every time I try to
do this I get and error message that reads "The instant messaging address
that you entered is not valid" I don't understand? I have a few other
people in my buddy list so I know it works (they are all MSN account
people)!

My friend is using AIM along with IChat on his Mac laptop is that helps!

Greetings Joe,

I'm not completely clear from your message if your contact is using Messenger or not. If
he's only using iChat/AIM on his Mac, then you won't be able to communicate with him without
installing AIM or another instant messaging product that connects to AIM's network. Or
alternatively, he could install Messenger:Mac...

Live Messenger will only connect you to people on the .NET Messenger network and Yahoo's
instant messaging network.
