| vista | Call a Contact not working Hi there When I push the call a contact button my end rings but my contacts doesn't and vica versa. I tried the cmd fix as suggested by Shawn to no avail. The strange thing is, that when i make a video call it goes through just fine... what the??? The I get this Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x80ef01f4) Anyone able to assist cause it worked on xp Ta's |

| | RE: Call a Contact not working July 20, 2008 I've been experiencing the same issue on and off for a couple of weeks now. I used to be able to rely on messenger for regular communication with my son in Japan. Now, most of the time, I get the message, "Messenger is not available right now. Please try again later. (0x80ef01f4)." It really makes communication difficult. I sent an email to Microsoft about 3 weeks ago and I think it just goes to the 'bit-bucket' since I haven't heard anything from them.
