Error 81000378

I am recieving this error when I try to sign in my Windows live messenger. I
am unable to sign in my live messenger and have no option left except to use
windows messenger. One thing here should be taken under consideration that
when my elder brother try to sign in using this live messenger, he is
successful in doing it. I have tried the trouble shooting methods but still
no success

You mean your elder brother can sign in on the same computer? If so, is he using the same
Windows account as you?

Assuming yes, make a new Windows account, then log in to that account in Windows and finally
attempt to sign in within that new account. That will at least limit where the problem might
be.
