| | Windows Live Messenger with Vista I suddenly developed the exact same problem today after Windows Live Messenger had worked fine on my new Toshiba laptop since it bought it a couple months ago. I discovered by accident that if I left click on the WLM icon or shortcut and choose "Run as administrator" it opens and runs fine. Don't ask me why since I'm already logged into Vista Premium as administrator, but it works now every time. |

| Vista Ultimate 32/64 bit | Re: Windows Live Messenger with Vista My WLM starts with windows so I don't have to right click for anything other than changing my status. ![]() EDIT: You do mean right click and choose "run as administrator" from the context menu correct? |
