Black screen in full-screen mode

When I video-call, I get black screen if I try to see my contact in the
full-screen view. It works okay if the size is set to small or medium but
never in the full-screen view. I have to believe it has to do with the
messenger because it is neither my webcam nor my contact's that's giving me
the problem. Besides, the full screen view was working fine before I
reinstalled the messenger a few weeks ago, so I guess it's not the
graphics/monitor related either. Could anyone help me on this one?

Re: Black screen in full-screen mode

" ok guys. This was my solution to the annoying black screen when trying to view videos in full screen mode. Right click on the video and when the display panel pops up turn off the enable hardware acceleration feature. This works for Adobe flash player, I am not certain about your particular application. I am no computer genius but then again maybe I don't give myself enough credit. Give it a try!"
