Re: New contacts appear offline

That is happeing to me, but I am working on a Mac, How can I fix it? I am
thinking that the problem comes from the messenger servers.

I tried in other pc computers with the same result.

How can I fix it, the people that I have added recently I cannot see them,
but they can do it.

What could be happeing with my account?

Re: New contacts appear offline

Greetings Roberto,

The post you brought up is from a few years ago, which is a bug long since fixed.

This can happen on the server-side too. You might need to "re-establish" the relationship
between you and them (your contacts with this problem). To do so, delete them from your
contact list and then have them delete you from theirs.

Then head over to the Contact menu, then Privacy. Find her on the Allow list, right-click
their name and choose Delete.

If the Delete option is grayed out, then they've not yet deleted you from her contact list.
After this, simply re-add them and more than likely (hopefully) everything will start working
again.
