Vista - error code 0x80ef01e8

Hi,

When I make a video call, video is fine both ways but whilst I can hear the
other person they cannot hear me. If I try a audio only call, I get an
error 0x80ef01e8.

A Google search on this error does not produce any solutions.

Any ideas?

This is because one of you are using Windows Vista, and the other is using
XP.

(its Microsofts cock ups... they just dont make the software compatiable for
each OS!)

MSN Messenger 5 supports Windows NT and Windows 95.
MSN Messenger 7 supports everything from Windows 98 to XP.
Windows Live Messenger 8 supports everything up to Vista.

Microsoft continues to support Messenger even on Windows versions it doesn’t even support
anymore. Nevermind OS X, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and Symbian.
