How to uninstall Windows Live Wave 3 Products?

Hi. I have tried to install Windows Live Messenger 9 and Windows Live Mail
2009. But then, I realised that I do not really like the interface and stuff
yet. So I decided to change back to Windows Live Messenger 8.5 But no matter
what I do I cant seem to fully uninstall Windows Live Messenger 9. Please
advise me. Thanks in advance.

Run the uninstaller for WLM 9, then run Ccleaner and reboot. Then search for WLM 9 and delete any remnant manually. If you get a message that the items cannot be deleted use unlocker to finally get rid of them. Good luck

Re: How to uninstall Windows Live Wave 3 Products?

There is no uninstaller for WLM 9. Anyway. Even if you go into Add/Remove in
the Control Panel or the vista equivalent (I am using XP SP2), clicked on
change/remove in there. It would not be gone even after a reboot. I doubled
checked this by running the WLM Wave 3 Beta Installer again and it says I
have WLM 9 installed.

Greetings,

You can remove the current Wave 3 Messenger beta by click Start, then Run (if not using
Vista): then type:
msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859}
and press Enter.
